On the 22nd August W Connection played South Starworld Strikers at Ato Boldon Stadium where we emerged with a four (4)- two(2)victors. Goals came from Brenton De Leon in the 11 minute, follow by Hughton Hector in the 18th minute,and Andrei Pacheco notching the third goal for W Connection in the 31st minute. Starworld tried to make a game of it when they pulled a goal back in the 40th minute through Randolph Jerome . At the End of the first half the score was three (3) goals to one (1) in favour of W Connection. In the second half, W Connection placed the icening on the cake when our prolific goalscorer and veteran player Earl Jean scored in the 60th minute. In the 70th minute Starworld Strikers got a consolation through Randolph Jerome. At the end of the game , WConnection 4, Starworld Strikers 2.
